Reasons:
1. Muslims puasa we non-Muslims oso puasa coz the cafeteria are closed.
2. Tests on weekends. I want my weekends where I can sleep all day and online all day where I can relax from those giant 100 pounds books gaining on me... Like today... There's a calculus test tomorrow where as I spent my whole Friday and today (hopefully) studying...
3. Lecturers that 'teach' very well... With interesting comments on each topic, that is.. " If you don't understand, nevermind... Just hope that it doesn't come out on the finals.."
4. Internet??? Ahahahaz... Just pray that the university's server is up just so that you can connect to the internet at 10mbps where as the actual connection speed is slower than a 56k modem... Download a song? Lets say, 1.4mb (podcast)... Its half an hour at 600 bytes per second. Bytes I tell ya... o.6kb, 0.0006mb... The 56k modem I use at home, the slowest I've gone was 1.4kb/sec.. WTF??!!
Well, there are somethings that I'm grateful of.. But.. I think that none of it has to do with this Uni though.. Its just that the crap that the Uni throws at me just made me grateful of the things back home that made me a little more prepared here... A little is better than nothing, right???
My Add-Math tuition teacher. I know that the exercise thatyou give are harder than SPM papers... That is great considering that the calculus course here is hard... Differentiation, Chain Rule, Implicit Differentiation, Mean Value Theorem.. Without the foundations of doing the exercise that I could blow off my whole weekend off just by doing 1 topic's questions, I think I'll die on tomorrow's paper.. [wish me luck!!]
And... Finally I can type with both hands!!! Yeah!!!

A Kid Once Again??!!
If I were to take a poll, I bet that a good 90% would say that they wish that they could turn back time and go back to Form 4/5 and another good 15% would wish that they were a little younger... Like maybe primary school aged?? No worries and what not...
Well, since I'm not smart enough to create a time machine, perhaps the best that I can do is to remember the time that reminds me of the past the most... That is... losing part of your skin...
Yeah… It reminds me of the time when I was a kid and always falling down, leaving my skin on the ground and blood in the dirt… Ah… Memories… But not that of the pain that I’ve gone through, but the endless process of cleaning the wound and putting medicine on it… Damn! It stings!!! And not to forget about the ‘pantang’ on the wondrous food that you can’t eat when you’ve got that scab…
And let’s not forget about the pus that may be just around the corner when you get your wounds a little wet accidentally and listening to your parents saying:” well, that’s gonna leave a scar,” when they use a tweezers to take of the scab just to get to the fresh skin bellow to clean off the pus.
Fresh skin is always pink, and you can sometime see the small blood capillaries bellow it, and just when you thought that it would hurt when you touch it, your body already put you in ‘prepare to die mode’… Hey, it ain’t so bad… Until the hydrogen peroxide or some mentholated Chinese medicine comes in to spoil your good time… Dang!
With all that going on, you might even need to wait for few weeks before you are scab-less and no more have the tendency to draw your arm back as you would when you touch an iron, or feel a non-existing twinge that gets into your mind when someone touches your leg…
Hmm… Sianz hor… Getting injured…

Trip to Penang
The trip there was 'amazing'... Why? ever tried to defy the laws of gravity by sitting on a vehicle that turns a corner at 80km/h while having one of the highest centre on gravity on the road? Yup! A double-decker bus averaging 110km/h with the company logo of the most frequent 'flier' in the Malaysian highway.. Also the 'safest' way to get to from one state to another..That is if you consider from the human form to the spirit form.. Hahaz... [BTW, the company name is KoNSorT10M or something..]
Ok.. The the trip there was almost peril-less, given the fact that a kind police officer made sure that the bus driver doesn't send us to meet our ancestors before we have grandkids. Yeah.. He stopped the bus for speeding.. Hahahaz...
The next day was off to the famous island to which was the first point the British manaced in the administration of the Malayan Lands.. Penang Island...
Drove through the bridge..
And saw this...
Islands.. Yup, bet they will be perfect spots for exploring and romantic getaways or something of that sort..
So I asked my friend..
Nemu-iii: Is there any beach around here?
J: Yeah.. But in this part, they're all muddy..And smells like shit..
Well, too bad.. Hahaz
Penang Island is famous for it Gurney Drive which I guess is trying to look like Orchard Road with the mix of Kuching's Riverside and Miri's Boulevard Escape [Correct my spelling if I'm wrong...] where the high-class shopping area mix with the seaside..
Where's this? High-rised apartments and beautiful landscape.. I thought that I was in Singapore..
And sometimes the good'ol Victorian-styled buildings made the the Island look more and more like Singapore, if you ignore the occasional trash that you stepped on.. Hahaz
Well, the shopping center, Gurney Plaza is such a great place to window shop.. [Like in Singapore..] and see the wonderful sights of taiwanese artist wanabees [sorry, I don't listen to chinese songs..]
The most amazing part of Penang shopping centers are the layout of shops...
For example...
The combination of three shops that are aligned to each other, side by side...
1. The place you bring your girlfriend to, or the place you get your girlfriend's gift...
2. The place you bring your very pregnant wife to look at prams and tiny socks for Jr. to come..
3. The place you bring Jr to buy toys...
All linked together.. Smart ain't it???
Well, and its back to the Mainland, where the streets looks very Malaysian...
