Before I leave...

Ya, I'll be leaving tomorrow for KL to study in Uniten. I won't be blogging frequently if not ever coz I ain’t wanna buy a computer now. Why? He-he... The prices of computer will rise dramatically due to plenty of colleges and Universities taking in students by the thousands and they will be all flocking for laptops and desktops. [P/s those that are in KL, look me up ok?]

I'm patient, but I ain't know how long I will last being disconnected... -.-"

So, as the possibly last entry for a very long time, I leave with these final words...

With nothing to be found,
But still trailing like a hound,
I leave into the darkness,
Forsaken my happiness.

I stepped of this ground,
With the speed of sound,
And tears of joy and hatred,
As if I was demented.

My friends are here and there,
I wish that I were fair,
Cause leaving one place,
Means finding a new face.

And off I leave with a sore neck,
The strain from my head turning back,
Looking behind me,
Finding nothing but a sea,

Of the memories I had,
Some happy, some sad,
Patting the head of the yard gnome,
Thinking this will always be my home.

[So long suckers!!! Goodbye my friends! I'll be back this November...]

Countdown: Less than 4 days...

Leaving home in about 4 days. Haven't started packing yet. I bet I won't untill the last minute coz there's always something that needs you to pull out your beautifully packed clothes from the suitcase, just to find the handphone charger you snuggled nicely between your undies and socks... Haiz... Now I've got a list of things to do before I leave for KL...

1. Try to sleep before 12 midnight and wake up befoor noon.... [-.-" only went to bed at 2-3 a.m. and waking up only after 11 a.m. ]

2. Try to initiate a search for a suitcase to put my junk in...

3. Try to reduce my time spent online, as to adjust to the shift of not being online, as frequently as I am now...

4. Drink my last can of beer before I leave as I will be absolutely sober for the entire semester… [At least during non-partying times…]

5. Find anyextra money to bring there… [Will be pretty much broke there…]

6. Burn all those mangas into a DVD…

7. Packing???

Over the GATES...

In case you haven't know, Bill Gates is resigning Microsoft, well at least his post as the Chief Software Architect. All you Mac users, don't jump in joy just yet as he is still the Chairman of the company.

Well, I bet he just wanted to fly over the 'Gates' for once...

How to 'Greet' a Friend Whom You Haven't Seen for a Few Years...

Ahahahahaz... Had a small reunion yesterday, a meet with some friends whom I haven't laid eyes on since primary school...

Ok, just one of them is the one that I haven't seen for six years...

Anyway, Yap Sze Sze just got home to Kuching from Singapore just about a few days ago. Ke-ke-ke... Time to 'Greet' her...

Step 1. Comment on what ever that you feel bout his/her appearence or changes regardless of your better judgement stopping you... [Ok-ok... That I didn't do...]

Step 2. When at a reunion, try to fool her into thinking that your existing friends (whom she doesn't even know) was your classmate... A great fun if your friends play along...

Step 3. What to do when it gets awkward cause the stupid organizer of this reunion didn't plan something ahead [not me] ? Well, divide and conquer... Its either split or do something 'fun' together...

Step 4. Lets say you've decided on watching a movie. Knowing your long lost friend is afraid of horror movies... Ahahahaz... Get the movie anyway. Your good at it when you are able to dodge the questions bout the movie without him/her being suspicious....

[The Omen]

Step 5. Sit back and watch the movie... =)

Step 6. A drink and have a look at the horror stricken face... [Feeling bad rite now...]

Step 7. Be sure to calm the anger before it turns out like this... -.-"

Anyway, welcome home.... =)

Muhahahaz...

Serikin, The Town with Hakka Speaking Indonesians...

Today, I went to Serikin after visiting some Bidayuh's houses with my family.

You know, Serikin is the place that is in the Bau area. So, if your car was stolen, you'll most probably find it on the way to Serikin, gunning towards Indonesia. Why? Coz Serikin is at the edge of Indonesia...

Like any poorer foreign countries, those immigrants come here to milk potential ang-mor money... and the likes of us...

Anyways, its not that much like Petaling Street coz there's no RM3-5 VCDs and RM7-11 DVDs. But, there is some very original Rotan chairs and tables and satelite dish replacements... Ahahahaz...

The World Cup Fever (otherwise known as the 'Cuppa Fever') is on!!!

Visit Dom-ass and SK-II's blogs and you'll pretty much see why there's such a thing as a 'cuppa fever'...

For me, the 'Cuppa fever' is more like running sick by not having a cup of cappuccino for my early morning caffeine fix.... Hahaz..

Ok.. I'm sure that football is a good sport, dispite those expensive 'official made in China' jerseys and Pro footballers trying to stuff your already high-blood suger with Pepsi, it has in fact stopped a war, between Cuba or something because they wanna watch the World Cup. Its TRUE!! Google it lar!!!

Anyway, those corporate companies sure know how to reel in money from people that are insecure about their freinds, not impressed bout how not enthusiastic you are by not buying a RM199.99 official jersey. Yup, SMS contest and what not, selling the all important 50" plasma or 40" LCD TV to watch the World Cup with some freinds that you invite or those that invite themselves...

Making money out of nothing, that's the dream of any businessman.

Anyway back to the World Cup. The opening ceromony was pretty much pointless, with the girls in dresses that can hide an elephant, hung up onto the air, like they were half-poped balloons.... Don't quite get the meaning... -.-"

Yeah, like most half-sane people that is not very into the World Cup, all we care is that who won the match, and watching the Semi and Finals... IMO, i think that club matches are more exciting than a group of people that seldom play together, trying not to run into each other when chasing the ball... Except for Brazil...

Well, the match between Germany and Costa Rica? I think its playing as i write. Don't ask me the outcome just yet though...

MBKS?? A funny local council...

Yeah, the local administrator of the Southern part of Kuching is a funny place.

Here's the model of it.... The sun was hot and I'm lazy to fry in the Sun just to take a freaking photo of it.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

It looks like a blue top that was toppled over... Hahaz..

Anyway, why is it so funny? Well, you know that the garblement keep giving messeges to kids bout not doing drugs, this the mural to promote drugs...

[Even a 'stoned' lady can open a shop and be rich...]

The place also serves as a haunted house. The theme?? Creepy stalker type sitting on the floor....

[Butt ugly and creepy..]

Well, this the fun part bout the place. Sometimes there are exhibitions on art. Some local, some from China. Well, this week its the 'shu hwa' of China. Using a 'mao bi' to draw wonderful pieces of art. Mostly landscape and big birds...

Here are the pics...

[Sarong party girl with a tiger beer???]

Ahahahaz...

Argh....Weirdos...AGAIN!!!

Ten-Ichi, the place where I now no longer dare to set foot into the god-damn place again. Reason? Well, after walking in and out of the kitchen, and some other things I don't wanna say or you wont eat there, frankly I'm afraid of that place.

Reasons?

1. Too many weird people talk to me. When I work, I don't like to talk... Especially to someone I just met for like 5 seconds ago. WTF???

2. The most important reason. I contemplated about not sharing it, coz it is down right embarrassing for me...Oh WTF!!! I'll just tell it ONLY to my friends and family... Hahaz.. Better to have people I know laugh at me than people I don't...

OK, if you're my friends, the problem IS WORSE than Little Maria... About 100000X worse.... ARGH!!!!! Oh well, I won't be here any longer any-who... Best to run... Ke-ke-ke....

A Local Festival, some crazy alcoholics and a drink called Langkau...

Yup! That is how the annual Gawai festival is usually celebrated. Drinking a very potent alcoholic beverages, Langkau (its kinda like Spirit, bout 20% alcohol in it...) in 'shots' that could render you useless in just one, half-filled shot of it. [Lesson learnt through the easy way... Some co-workers can't stand it...]

Ok. That was my Gawai this year. Going to Bau on the 1st and 10th Mile on the 2nd.

The drinking part only took place when the super 'siaw' drinker, Alex went there.

It is customary for the host to serve a few rounds of Langkau to the guests. Usually a bottle of it. But, if it was only a bottle, disaster wouldn't happen.

The dude took like 15-20 shots of the hard stuff that could potentially burn your throat and show no signs of passing out. He was drunk though. Then, he requested a second bottle.

A few more rounds started between us. Heck, the thing was even too strong for the host. Soon it stopped becoming funny when someone started to puke.

It seems that some people don't know their own limit. Hahaz... I'm not one of them..

I think the count of the barfing disaster amount to 4 people. Well, at least that I'm not the one too hammered to go to work the next day...

Fucking TM Net...Fucking dail-up!!!!

Stupid TM net! Chee Beh.... Its been 5 times this week that the fucking connection eat shit!

Arghhhh!!!!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
[Sometime its error 718 and fucking shit!!!!]

In case your wondering why I don't just use broadband, I'll be leaving in 3 weeks so using broadband is pointless.

Work For Food? Nah...Its for the money...

Ok. The restaurant offers very high-priced food. None, I mean none of the customers ever left the vacinity with only 40 bucks less from their wallet.

Like most people with noses that bears tiny specs of gold, they don't even look at their bill, [all amounting to at least RM100] and just hand over their credit card.

Its a hot place for couples and stupid rich frap boys.

Fine. The pics of the place.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

This is what I learnt from working there.

1. Don't go there when it is super busy. Why? Hands get dirty easily when there is plenty of food, clearing table... Ahahahaz... Suckers... Ok, I wasn't like that, but when the kitchen gets busy, cleanliness isn't the top priority.

2. Don't ask for anything extra that might piss of the waitress, i.e. causing the person to walk into the hot kitchen to get something for just you two. Chances are that they were not fresh or.... [It's not what you think, but I won't say]

3. If you've been to the place for five times and in one of the occasion, the receptionist suddenly jumps up, DO come again.... I bet you might get plenty of 'extra' protein. If the frequency of that happening is more than 1 in 5 times, you're safe.

4. Don't ask silly question or stupid request. You'll most likely end up not having your question answered or not getting what you requested, exactly...

5. An empty place makes the best service. A 50% full house means don't be leceh...

6. Be sure that you don't come on Mondays or during and after public holidays when the stock of seafood is about 2-3 days old.

Abide by these rules than your halfway there to having good food. The other half depends on the mood of the waiter/ess and how you present yourself.
