Back From Amish-land

Ah.... finally..... I'm back from Amish land...you know, the place in USA, Pennsylvania where the people there live like in the 1800 or before there was toilet paper...(i think...)

[how come they have a notebook too???]

Ok, ok... I didn't go there lar... But, my home computer is from the time when Micheal was not busy molesting children and he's still a pretty boy, this new PC is a heaven....

First thing first... This is not my notebook. [damn! Back to square 1 again...] Its my sis's. But, I help her choose...

[Dell, with a croocked E... not Enron lar...]

I'm pretty proud of myself due to the quality of this sucker (a RM3200 sucker to be correct!)

Its a Dell, Inspiron630m that comes with 1.7 GHz, 80GB, 512MB DDR2 SDRAM, a dual layer DVD combo drive. Oh, what the fuck, I'm lazy to type all the specs. Visit the site here...

[Not enuf cash to get XP-pro...]

Now, the first thing I notice is that it is a wide screen notebook. 1280x800 pixels. A normal screen is 1024x768...[i think...]

[See! wide screen!!!]

The sound quality is supperb... I ain't wanna record it coz if you played it on your laptop, you can't tell the difference [coz your's probably suck ass!!!]. It sounds like a Sony HiFi set playing jazz... Ok, bad example... You can actually take it to a party and rock out with it! [hmm... isn't this an advertisement??!!]

Its battery life is ok... You can surf the web for 4 hours and 50 minutes before the alarm goes of, telling you to charge it. I have not tried playing games wireless[w/o AC adapter connected to the power source]

Well, I probably wont end up having a notebook for myself coz I plan to opt for a cheaper desktop that can handle games...with that cash, I can play Doom3 without a hitch!

If i have my way, this is what I'll get...

[Alienware...*saliva dropping out of my mouth...]

Nah... its too damn expensive. I'll juz have mine custom built...

[forgive me if some of the pics are blur...I used my camera phone...]
